Wheels Need Help!

I have a 1982 camaro and am looking at after market wheels
what are the back spacing and sizes I should be looking for?

will the 15 by 8 Nomad 11 wheels in jegs fit?
or should I go for 16 in IROC wheels?

any cheap wheels combos?
since I want to buy 6 wheels
2 extra or drag tires

My personal preference would be the earlier (1985-1987) IROC 16" wheels. They seem to look good on any Third Gen- Camaro or Firebird. A little larger wheel with a bigger contact patch should give you better handling- but the 82 handles pretty well already! I don't know much about drag racing, but a wider tire will help with grip off the line, which means 16x8 wheels. Unless you want to go larger...

IROC wheels may be front/rear specific and may not look correct after installation. It would be personal preference.

I have the same prob, with the back spacing deal. But I was told if I do a 255/60/15, I need at least a 5 inch backspacing. But I have decided on the Weld Drag Lites, they are pretty reasonable priced on the Summit Racing site. All four is around $600
