Weekend Project (Front end rebuild)

Ok I have most of the parts, and they have been sitting for awhile....I am sick of the floatyness of my 3rd gen 92 camaro...especially after it was sitting for about a year and a half.

what I am wanting to do is the following:
Tie Rods (inner and outter)
Ball Joints
Center Link
Struts
Control Arm bushings
Power Steering Pump
Power Steering Lines (both pressure and return)
(Borg and Warner Rear with Discs)

where my questions come to play is...I have never done this before....are there any special things I need to look out for? Abotu the only thing I have done in the past were Struts on a Neon and I have removed a rear before. The rest of this suspension is new to me...any tips, pointers, etc?

Pick up a Haynes manual for your car, get a Ball Joint press(rentable from autozone).

the bushings could be a bear, easiest way is to get the control arm out of the vehicle and go to a machine shop and have them press the bushings out and press the new ones it. Also a pickle fork will make things come apart a bit easier.

Your tie rods and centerlink should be pretty straightforward. Outter tie rods got the castle nut with a cotter pin, inner ones just have regular style bolts.

excellent...when i was looking at the car trying to compare the parts i have to where to put them, the biggest thing that im at a slight confusion about is the power steering pump. I bought the one from Advance and was comparing it and it looks liek the pump might be 2 peices or somehting....

what is the best way to go about the power steering pump?

You'll have to remove the pully and then there will be bolts holding the pump on, you will have to reuse the pully.

Don't forget your idler arm too, might as well replace it if you're doing the tie rods and center link.
