C5 Corvette Rims 17"/18" - Rubbing?

Ok ive done a search like 5 times over and cant really find what im looking for.
I have a 92 Firebird with stock suspension everything that i take autocrossing. I just got a set of c5 corvette rims. The rims are stock not aftermarket. the fronts are 17" by 8.5" and have 255 40 17's. The rears are 18" by 9.5" and have 275 40 18's. I am going to run 2" adapters all round, but i am worried about the tires hitting the fender. In a few months i plan on getting adjustable struts and stiffer springs, but for now will i have any problems autocrossing with the wheels hitting the fenders?? And if i get sportlines will i have problems then?

This may not help but I will throw it out there.

My 94Z has 17 x 9.5 (265x40x17) and 18 x 10.5's (295x35x18) Z06 rims. There isn't any issue on the front. But on the back I had to clearance the inner fender well's a bit, and I had to add a 1/8" spacer between the axle and the rim to stop the rubber from rubbing when cornering.

If you run the 2 inch spacer on the back with a 9.5" rim you shouldn't have a problem. I looked at the IROC and the inner fenderwells look pretty much the same.

I run 4 17x8.5 wheels, with 255/45's on them. My car is pretty low, and I have no issues with it rubbing. I have 2" spacers on the front (with c4 brakes, which adds a 1/8" or so. and 2.25" rear.
