Need a Recommendation!!!

Im going to be redoing my suspension pretty soon with the main goal being to lower the car to finish up my appearance with new paint and wheels.

I cant decide on what to do...i want a nice ride for once but with the ablility to adjustment just incase i ever get into auto x or what have you

Im considering air ride technologies, Spohn coil over setup with A arms, or possibly just spohn a arms with some Dropzone springs i have laying around

I also want something that will allow me to drop the car 2-3 inches...plz lend me any info, recommendations, or advice

thx

Oh and current struts are Koni Yellows up front and something crappy outback

Sounds like you want weight jacks. Adjustable spring perch with shorter springs than usual. The ones from Ground Control offer around 2.5" of adjustability. Check out this thread for more info:

Ignore the part where I install them wrong the first time (hahaha) but seriously this is an awesome setup if you want static spring rate and adjustable ride height. I'm running this style setup on both my IROC-Z and Z28. Kinda pricey if you buy em new, but worth it. They do come up on E-bay every once in a while, thats how I get em cheap, then buy new springs to the specs I want.

It might be but I think the picture is wrong, those are either rear 3rd gen springs or front 4th gen springs. You know, ever since they re-did their website its been whacky. Like 50% of the parts for 3rd gens they used to advertise are no longer advertised. I would say give them a call. I think the retail price was around $400 for front and rear weight jacks with custom springs.

crazy do you have any pics of the front setup...im really interested about this setup...also a 9.5 to 10 inch spring would be right for a setup to where the car is 2 inch lower than stock and has 2.5 inches of adjustability correct? also do you know what strength or whatever that number is on the spring?...it will be mainly a street setup with occasional drag/auto x runs no drifting

thx for everything plz send me any additional pics you have to my email

Its all in that thread man, pics of the front/rear weight jacks and pics of one of my cars dropped with the setup used for the example in the thread. Also has the spring length info and spring rate info, pretty much everything you need to know to make your choices. If you wanna know uncompressed spring heights to try and guage what ride height you'll get w/ the weight jacks do a search on uncompressed heights, I got a thread on that too.
