Aftermarket torque arms
Whats going on guys,
Im up in school and taking a course that gives me full use of a metals and machine shop. I want to design and make my own torque arm I brought up an extra I had laying around for measurment. My question to you guys is that I want to have a basis for my idea and design. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of their aftermarket unit either in or out, and what they thought of the unit they have. Thanks guys, and hey if it works out ill have a jig to make many more when im done!

Ok I am going to head to a junkyard to get a crossmember and take measurements from an F body, thankgod for pick and pulls. I have a quick question tho, I remember when I did my 5spd swap I had to modify my origonal crossmember to fit it because the 84 crossmember did not fit. do i need a crossmember out of a 82-83 model or is it possible that im just dumb?

I got the crossmember from the junkyard, I just have one question. I know there is a difference between 82 and 84 crossmembers, I got 2 83 crossmembers that were different in size, can anyone do me a favor and measure across the bolt holes of their 82 camaro crossmember and post the measurements for me? that would make my life so great!
