Questions about front end tolerances
My car has been pulling to the right since I got it a few months ago. It has all new tires all around so thats not an issue. I want to get the alignment done but I needed to take a look for any issues first.
I just jacked up each side to see what kind of play it might have in the front end parts. There is a small amount of play from either side where the dummy connector on the passenger side connects the tie rods. This play seems like it would possibly be normal since its not a realy solid setup. I dont see any parts seperating. I also checked the wheels by trying to shake them at 12 and 6 oclock. They both have a little play like that although it doesnt seem real bad. I'm not sure what would be considered normal. Should it have 0 play or is a little ok? I wouldnt think the wheel bearings would be 100% solid. Should I replace those?
