Tilt Steering - Sideways Movement???

Hi All,
I have searched through the posts here and could not find anything that relates EXACTLY to my problem...

My Manual, Tilt Steering has come loose vertically and sideways. I got the tools and LocTited the four bolts that commonly come loose. They were all loose. After putting the whole thing back together, There is NO vertical movement at all but I do have about 1/2 to 3/4 inch sideways movement!
This is really got me confused.

Is there anything else that anyone knows of that could cause this? Maybe I stuffed something up during the re-assembly? Any help most appreciated... Thanks and regards...
Geoff (86trnzam).

Update...
This week whatever was holding the thing together(Just!) gave way... Now the whole thing is flopping around like a 'Mad Women's S@#t' !!!
Looks like whatever holds the plate that the 4 bolts go into has failed. Column comes out tonight... Bugger!
I will document the rebuild on my site...

For those interested... Site has been updated... Not complete but may be some use to anyone working on the Tilt Steering... Will add to it as time permits...
