I posted a "want ad" for 15x8 firebird rims and got a few responses. One of the members here told me that the style of rims I was looking for only came in 15x7 but i can almost swear that rims ones i had on my '84 Firebird S/E, that I bought all orginal with 65,000 miles, had 15x8. I sold them 2 years ago so i cant remember for sure. So now i was looking to but the same set but 15x8 and i was told that they only came 15x7. Is this true? heres a link of the ones i bought, there 15x7 but the style i was looking for.

Car: American Iron Firebird
Engine: The little 305 that could.
Transmission: Richmond T-10
Axle/Gears: Floater 9" - 3.64 gears
Yep, those are only in 15x7.

If you want 15x8 you have to go to the old style Rally wheels.

I can't think of any thirdgen wheel that was produced in a 15x8 size.. I can tell you that early t/a "turbofin" wheels were 15x7.5, and I'm pretty sure that the limited run daytona 500 aero wheels were 7.5 inches wide as well, but that's the closest you're gonna get..

turbofins

aero wheels..
