Wheel weights hitting

I just had wheels balanced on my 1992 - it has always sat way lower than my stock 1990, so I'm assuming it's been lowered. Nothing rubbed before I had wheels balanced today. When leaving the shop, the wheel weights on the fronts were rubbing - one actually got ground down to nothing, in a 20 yard distance. On the strut, there are ears that stick out, from where the brake caliper is attached - they rubbed there. The balancer put the sticky weights inside the rim, instead of the clipped ones on the rim edge.

But... I still have some rubbing issue somewhere up front now. When I turn hard right, something rubs - it started raining, so I can't look at the moment.

I know alot of 3rd gens are lowered with no problems. What does this rubbing mean? I need new struts? The car was lowered incorrectly? Something else? It has stock 16" wheels - I just would think there'd be more clearance than that - a wheel weight is less than 1/4 inch thick!

Any input/ideas appreciated

Rain let up - and I saw the trouble - rear rim on the front, front rim on the rear - just on pass side - I feel stupid for not thinking of that earlier!
