WS6 36mm or Spohn 34mm?

Which would be a better bar for my car? The hollow WS6 36mm or the Spohn solid chromoly 34mm bar? Which is lighter?

They are about the same stiffness, but the 36 is several pounds lighter.

Are there any 36mm WS6 bars that aren't hollow?

I had the 36mm, just switched to the spohn, heavier but defently better. You wont notice a diference driving normal though.

I went a head and ordered the 36mm greasable bushings and endlinks that Spohn offers. I will drive with it for a while. I might go ahead and get the Spohn sometime in the future, but for now, this will do.
Probably won't notice the difference between the F41 bar and the WS6 bar...but, it is the two times a month that I don't drive normally that I want the extra stiffness. lol I hope I can get the WS6 bar before I test my car on the skidpad this Saturday.

You wont notice a difference because there is none. The solid bar is just added weight. Roughly speaking a hollow tube is just as stiff as a solid bar that has an outer diameter that is the same as the inner diameter of the hollow tube.

Go do a search this has been beaten to death. Something about the Spohn bar having 190,000 psi tensel strength vs the 36mm having 65,000 or something like that.

Swaybar stiffness is expressed in the same terms as a coil spring. To refreshh my memory I went and did the calculations and a 34mm solid bar comes out at 1087 and the 36mm hollow comes out at 994. That is about 9% difference so yes there is a difference but not much in the overall picture. The same could be accomplished by using heim joint endlinks on the 36 hollow.

For a bit of clarification in case the numbers seem a bit off; they are. I used the straight swaybar formula because I did not feel like crawling under my car to measure. The % of difference remains constant though.
