i was just wondering if a strut tower brace will help out in drag racing. i am going to be mostly drag racing with my car so im not sure if its worth it.

yeah it wont help...for drag racing, yer better off without it. and as long as you have a posi rear-end, go ahead and take off yer front sway bar too. like the oooold chevelle guys used to. the little bit of extra frame twist puts more pressure on the back tires (kinda like a little extra weight off the tree) for better traction.

I yanked my front sway bar and wow. It made a world of difference.

Sorry but that has to be the most incorrect statement I've read lately. The reason you remove the front sway bar is to allow the suspension to travel more, but the actual stiffness of the chassis is definately beneficial for drag racing. The stiffer the chassis the better, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

The energy wasted in twisting the frame is substracted from the energy transmitted to the rear wheels. Simple as that.

Back to the original posters question about the STB. Not sure it will actually help, but it sure as well can't hurt. I just installed one and the car definately better driving around, and I'll try it at the track tomorrow night.
