different rate rear springs, where to buy, tire sizes

I just recently bought an 88 firebird with air shocks in it. I'm glad I read posts about them, before I finished my project. I don't want to crash my second thirdgen also. I was thinking of getting different springs to compensate, I don't know if there's a company that makes them for a decent price.
Would 275s rub without air shocks, I have brand new kyb gr2s I could put in? Or I could go with a different tire size. What's the biggest tires I could put without air shocks? Thanks

Someone has to have the answer that i'm looking for, it's not a complicated question. I've searched, but not enough.

So your question is-what rear springs you can install so you don't wreck this car also?

As Lo tec said we are not sure what you are trying to find out. to get a specific spring rate you can buy them from SSS suspension spring specialists

I read that without different rate rear springs to compensate for the gabriel hijacker air shocks, eventually the upper shock mounts will tear from stress, causing ill steering affects. I don't want this to happen, I took a look last night to make sure mine werent already torn, and they weren't. It looks like where they mount is reinforced, but I read more than one post on here not to use them, because of what I said.

Anyway, i'm going to put the Kybs' in, I wanted to know if I can still run 275s without air shocks. thanks

I woulnd't even know what spring rate I needed to buy. If 275s are too big what's the next biggest size I could run without the air shocks. By the way if you don't know what i'm talking about, do a search and you will see what's happened to other thirdgenners by using the Gabriel shocks.
