Has anyone used part number 31008 Rag joint with Spline with success?

Has anyone used part number 31008 Rag joint with Spline with success?
I am building up my steering and seen some of the fellow third genners bought this but has any bolted this on with no problems since it's stated to go on a Ford.

Anyone replace their rag joint and use this part? Or did you mostly use 31002?

I just re-did the unit using the disc and not the whole spline unit
