Firehawk Suspension

What kinds of suspension upgrades, both front and rear, did Firhawks receive over, say, a regular '92 Formula 350 with the WS6 package?

none that I know of. The WS6 suspension package was the top-of-the-line when these cars were built.

I read they had harder bushings in the back and I'm not sure about lowering springs, but I think they have them. There was a competition R edition with rollbar, racing bucket, aluminum hood, brembos etc. I doubt those had the stock WS6 suspension.

I think the Firehawks started off with 1LE suspension. What SLP did from there I'm not sure

Bascially,
A showroom stock racing setup.
With one of these cars, you could go road racing.
Pretty uncommon, almost rare.
Started late in the thirdgens, up to the fourthgens.
Bigger brakes and some other stuff.
20th TTAs had a cross of WS6 and 1LE. But a much smaller engine.

Hope this helps,

George

...yeah, and back when I was still sporting my L98 I rolled into a show, saw one and said " look honey, a V6 version of my car that'll kick my azz..."

As a road racer I can tell you the WS6 package was a great one on the third gens. Most folks run the WS6 ratio on their steering boxes and use the WS6 bars. On my '91 Formula WS6 car I am having that rebuilt and am using the stock springs and bars. They are great! Got me some new Konis from Sam Strano and I am all set!
