Ride still really bad

okay so over the weekend i got the shock/struts and rear springs done and my ride still is really bad, its alot better but when i hit a bump its like a bomb went off in my car. what other things could i try to make my ride better? i've had a few fbodys before but never this bad or maybe i just have a bad memory... any ideas would be greatly appreciated, i live in nyc so the roads out here really suck, when i lived in arizona the roads were so beautiful, its like im scared to drive my car now cause every bump in the road i feel like im gonna warp something... help please! lol

i have a 89 gta with t-tops, pretty much stock, v8 5.7

I feel your pain. My GTA w/WS6 is the same way. I'm hoping to give it that luxery sports car feeling this fall...if I could only figure out a way to do that. I'm still researching which springs to use, which shocks to go with, etc. etc.

I've got the same problem too, has anyone heard if by installing lowering springs like Hotchkis Sportlines or their Pro kit would help?
My suspension is all stock but with new struts in the front and shocks in the rear

Thanks,
Eric....

My GTA is actually due for a suspension overhaul I'm pretty sure. I had all new bushings put on last year, but everytime I hit a good bump it feels like somebody hit my car with a giant hammer (in the back). I've got the WS6 suspension, and through reading pretty much know people are gonna say - You bought the stiff riding car, get over it. But ya know what - I want it to feel like a luxery sports car. I'm not after AutoX or drag-racing - I just want a responsive car that doesn't give me whiplash when I hit a pot-hole.

btw Eric - I love that sig pic of your car. Got a bigger version you could send me?
