strut question

This may be a no brainer for most of you but i am not familiar with the front end. I am in the process of changing my struts, after i am done will i need to get another front end alignment?

And does anyone know where i can get the plastic shields that go over the strut? cause the ones there are all cracked

I would but it's not absolutely necessary unless you are looking for pinpoint-accurate handling.

Yes. The pieces you refer to may still be accessible from GM.

I'll look in my garage and see if I still have a set. I will post if I find them.

Try GM, part # 14019320 (Shield, Strut).

I found one of them so the other most be in the same area. I will be working on the car the next two days so I should find the other. PM your address and I will get a shipping price. That and a few bucks via paypal and they are yours. There was a post recently about caster camber plates and the guy used some dust boots from Autozoone. They may be cheaper than shipping.
