Hey all. I searched for quite awhile today on this... First, to run 17x9.5 4th gen wheels, I know most people are running 2" spacers. I have a 4th gen 12bolt in the rear...so no spacers is needed back there. Up front, Im using the LS1 brakes. So the wheel will be spaced out a bit more because of the extra width of the ls1 rotor. Do I still run a 2" spacer up front? Or do I get the 1.7" from skulte?? Im going to contact them to see what they say...but I figured Ide throw the question out there in case someone else already did it. Any info or pics of the set up would be awsome. Thanks!

Hmm...Ok after re-visiting skulte's website, I clicked on the 1.7" adapters. It says right in the description, for C5/LS1 upgrade and 4th gen wheels. So it does require less of a spacer. If anyone has any feedback, Ide still apreciate it. Thanks!

To do the 4th gen brakes...I used the spindle/hub/bearings/bracket package from bigbrakeupgrade.com. Here is what they look like...

They were really nice, fit perfect, and the price was right. Look around, there are a couple other guys that offer similar packages as well.

Then I just used the parts off the 99 donar car that I had sitting there.

All mounted up...

Ready to go...

The 1.7" spacer worked perfectly. Its tucked in just right. If you got them from skulte...and didnt use them, they might exchange them for the 1.7" for ya. Andres is a really cool guy. Ive spoken to him a few times. Always willing to help ya out, always willing to give you info. Great company in my opinion.

Any more questions feel free to ask.

Which? if you mean the spindle assembly, I dont recall. Go on bigbrakeupgrade.com and check it out. Spacers were alittle pricey...but I hear they are the best. And after talking with Skulte, Im willing to believe it. Check their site out as well for pricing. skulte.com

Its been awhile since I ordered all that stuff...so prices may have changed from when I got them.
