Does any how a trans am 1988 should ride. when you hit a bump the hole car shakes and raddles i just bought the car so i dont know much about it yet.

 

Dude, better get used to it, they all ride rough. It's called a factory stiffened suspension.

 

an expensive set of shocks and struts and a set of umi sfc's will change the ride quality by a good bit though, look in to it if i were you.

Most rattles go away after sfc's but, ride quality is still pretty low with stock low quality shocks and struts.

 

shocks/struts, and some springs will help leaps and bounds. then tires if yours are shot.

after that I'd do SFC's then a wonderbar.

that should take care of most of it.
