slicks
What rims do you plan on using? I fit 27" tall et streets with no problems, on a 15 inch wheel, with 5" of backspacing. Others on these boards have fit larger with little or no fender persuasion. Choosing the proper back spacing of the wheel, will play a big part in fitting larger tires. Welcome to TGO, BTW.

Not very big without front inner wheel well massaging.
Biggest I've run is 28x11.5 Hoosier quick time pro's, 29.5x9 MT full slicks on a 10" rim with 5.5" BS
I did have to beat on the front inner wheel well for clearance and cut out the bump stops over the axle.

I ran some 28 x 9 ET Drags with no modifications. Had them mounted on some 10" wide rims with 5.5" backspace.
I'm currently up to 29.5 x 10.5 ET Drag slicks but I also have a much of inner fender modifications to tuck them in.
Width measurements depends on the tire ratings. A 9" slick is the width of the tread. The sidewall is even wider. A 10.5" DOT tire can have the the same tread width as the 9" slick because a DOT tire width rating is the sidewall width.
Quick time pro tires are a DOT tire. So are MT ET Street, BFG Drag radial, Nitto etc.
When someone mentions "slicks" I have to assume they mean a track only slick so the tire width is the width of the tread.

I'm thinking about running a 295/50/15 on a 15 by 10 rim with 5.5 backspace that should fit under there pretty snug huh will i have to take the rearend rubber stops off i guess i'm just trying to get an idia how close its going to be?
