Can I do an STB before SFCs?

I know I read somewhere that it is better to do SFCs before adding the STB because an STB could possibly alter the natural stance of the car, hindering the ability to add SFCs later.

Is this true? I want to put on an Edelbrock STB immediately, but as I said in another thread, I'm having trouble finding a shop willing to weld them in for me! Any help is appreciated...

Go ahead, put it on. It's just for lateral support in turns.

Yep, just put on the STB now and do the SFCs whenever.
