Best way to lower ride height

I've seen all kinds of pics of all kinds of rockin' third gens that sit about an inch or two lower than the stock ride height.

How do you accomplish this? Is there more than one way ... and is there a "right" way and a "wrong" way?

I have read the sticky about the LCARB's and kinda' understand that ... but I don't even know where to start when it comes to lowering the ride height.

Thanks for any input!!

P.S. I searched "Lower Ride Height" and "Lower Suspension" and I couldn't find any results that directly answered my question, so please don't just say . Thanks!

lowering springs do that trick, and im in the misd of doing that right now as we speak. if you have alot of time on your hands, a spring compressor, air tools dont hurt, and ALOT of p'blaster, then you can do it on your own. as for me, i'll never do the fronts again. the rears are easy.

Umm ... I believe I would be in over my head on that project. I'll just leave it up to the pros!
