Question for Suspension/Ride Engineer

I have a set of take apart dampers for my third gen camaro. I am looking for the dampening force data for the dampers that came on a 1992 camaro rs with the V-8. I hope to use this data as a starting point to tune the dampers. Any help is appreciated.

dampners? What the hell country are you in?? You mean struts/shocks?

Now what do you mean "take apart dampers"? Adjustable shocks? Care to clarify?

Sorry, no rudeness intended. I was curious about the terminology.

oh james, are you losing your mind, talking to yourself like that?

I wasn't being rude, I just had no clue what he was talking about. It is strange that there is a spec for all parts on your car, but shocks don't typically come in a box which lists their damping rate. You just pick based on brand, and what you think will work. If someone knows the damping rate of SHOCKS and STRUTS, then please go ahead and list it.
unless your name starts with a D, and therefore you are pure evil
