Looking for Coils, Hotchkis or Eibach????

So, I would like to purchase some performance coils springs. I do not want to slam my car though. I want tight corners and less body roll. I wouldn't mind a drop of 1 to 1.5 inches though.

Do I need to change struts and shocks though?? The ones I am using right now a very new but stock replacements.

I looked at Hotchkis and Eibach, and not sure of the Progressive rate springs or regular springs. Anyone had any experience with either. I'm leaning toward Hotchkis because of they're quality parts and I already have Hotchkis Sub frame Connectors.

I have the Eibach Pro Kit - they only drop about an inch - but they seem to handle nice (for me anyways). I have also installed new ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar endlinks/bushings (poly), and the Bilstein shocks/struts. It was an investment at about $1200 for everything, but the ride is great (again, for me) and well worth it.

If interested, the Eibachs and the Bilsteins can be ordered from Autozone or Advance for as cheap as most internet sales (I got Eibachs for $249 for all 4, and Bilsteins for $560 for all 4), takes about 24-48 hours to deliver to the store, no special charges or shipping, and easily returned should you change your mind. The tie rod ends and ball joints I got at Napa - the part numbers with the NCP (the beefier higher quality ones) - about $250 for both sides for all 4 pieces.

I have Hotchkis. I'm satisfied with them.

Hotchkis spring rates:

for the Hotchkis springs: Front: 600 lb
Rears/Progressive: 100-140 lb

They claim it's a one inch drop and not as low as the sportlines. Don't know about the Sportline numbers. Summit price is approx $149 a set.
