rear end twitch???????????????
rear end twitch???????????????
rear end twitch..... how do i get rid of it? what i mean by twitch is "wobble from left to right, in the rear" durring cornering at 70 mph+ "freeway conectors" if i hit an uneven spot in the road like a 1/2 drop or seperation between new and old pavement the rear of the car will give a wobble fromn left to right after it makes contact with the road again it will wobble left right, left right then go stable again, It also does this on the 1-2 shift, the car chirps second and right after it chirps the car will do a lil left to right wobble then it seddles down again.
i know it cause of the solid rear axle, cause all the cars that i've been in with rear independent suspension dont do this. my car has been lowered about 2 inches, so now the panhard bar is unlevel from the chasis side to the axle side, would a panhard relocaition bracket help, i was aslo thinking maybe UMI subframe connectors might help. a couple weeks ago i had the rear of my car on ramps while i was replacing the panhard bar with a new one.... while it was off i was wondering how much it effected it had on how easy/ hard it was to push the rear side to side. so i gave it a lil nudge and with little ease it wobbled left to right about 3-4 times per side, then seddled down. but i thought with the tubular lower control arms with poly bushings it shouldn't have been that easy, so i got under the car and wobbled it left to right and took notice that on the chasis side where the control arms mount were flexing very easily. so maybe if i had UMI subframe connectors it would help a bit seeing as there the only SBFC, that i've seen, that have a brace that covers the chasis side were the control arms mount, and are flexing.
Would any of this help or am i just stuck with this wobble cause i have a solid rear?
