i just got a 85 IROC-Z but i can't get a title for it because the previous owner lost it for some reason or another, so i'm thinking its going to be a track only car unless i can get the title. its gonna get some new wheels( i'm thinking 18 inches...wide, after i get the frame and rear end narrowed) and i have Solidworks on my computer so i was thinking about designing my own wheels on that, and even if i never find a shop that has the machines required to make them, i'd like to have the design. the things i'm sure about are the lip, bolt pattern, height, width and material. i'm not sure how big the lugs are for the bolt pattern though and how much tolerance i should give them for the lugs(original brakes and equipment, if it makes a difference). by the way, who decided that ******1 should be a banned name? thats what i got for all of my other forum names, including w-body, tweak3d, allthingsmoto, megadeth and a few others.

Welcome to the site.On the title the PO should file for la ost title at the DMV.The DMV will issue a new title that can then be signed over to you.Then you go to the DMV to have the title transfered into your name.
And the board moderators make the call on allowed or non.allowed names.

 

already tried the lost title road but the guy hasn't had plates on it in twelve months he cant get a new title from what i remember.
