Goodyear Tripletread??

Has anyone tried the new Goodyear Tripletread on thirdgens? Based on the performance numbers at Tirerack they would be alot better then say Eagle GT II's.

thoughts?

i would assume the GY TT's would give you less performance......the Tripletreads are an economy tire. they have high mileage ratings and high treadwear ratings. i would say try and get some if your looking for a tire that will last a while. but if your going for a tire that will perform id say no.

I have them mounted on several FWD vehicles. They are a great all season tire, they carry the mountain snow symbol. That basically means they are as good in snow as a dedicated snow tire. They are quite and responsive with great grip. I don't know how they would handle on a 3rd gen since these cars typically have performance tires, but for the winter or rainy season i think they would be great.
