Spohn A-arms
Anyone here buy Spohn's A-arms with spring boxes (part #732)? I was thinking about getting the chromoly ones but saw a pic of one that broke at the weld for the sway bar end link.

I'm going to do a full brake job and figue if I have to take off the rotors and put new wheel bearings, I should upgrade the A-arms, too.

That's kind of like changing the bearings just because you have to change the oil, but the reason that tab broke is not because it's made of 4130 or improper heat treating, it's because the tab is designed poorly. That failure will happen eventually with every piece, the contributing factors (sway bar size, sticky tires, etc) will determine how many cycles until failure.
