wheel and tire combo offset

how much of a wheel offset have you guys found out that will still work but not too much negative that the wheel rubs? i was wanting to go a little bit negative to give the wheel that "deep dish" look just not so dramatic. i was thinking(well i know) that i could run wider tires and rims out back than up front because i want to take up alomost all the room i can get, but i just dont know how wide a size rim and tire. and another thing how big of a rim can i fit with a tire and how big of a tire profile can i run...i was thinking a 20" rim all around with a 1 and a half sidewall, but that sounds so crazy i dont even know if they make tires like that. one more thing some of you may have stuffed the biggest rims and are barely centimeters away frm rubbing the fender and you have a stock ride hidth, this wont work for me because im putting air ride on my car soon and that will drop everything at least 3 inches or more so your measurements would not work for me. so basickly i want to increase my rim size all around and get a wider tire and rim all around and more of a negative offset all around and have the lowest profile tire i can get.
