I have an 86 camaro and the ride will pound you to death. So my question is are there any air shocks or coil over shocks out there that will make my ride less brutal. I just need shocks for the rear. Any help is appreciated ive looked every where and cannot really find what im looking for so I thought id ask you guys. Thank you.

 

i too have a hard time driving over bad roads , i was looking for ways to make it smoother but came with nothing i could afford at the time

 

I put air bags in the rear shocks to keep the car level as my stereo equipment was bottoming out my suspension when driving....it helped and it was cheap.

 

Moog makes replacement springs for our cars and are really affordable. I think they are about $50-$60 a pair. The linear rate rears are #5665. They also make a variable rate "cargo coil" rear spring #cc635 that might raise the rear height a little. You can also pick up KYB GR2 or Gas-A-Just shocks pretty cheap at summit.
