Tourqe arms, Sub Frame Connectors.. Best??
Alright here goes.. Any suggestions?
I have an '88 formula, 305, t-5. Was looking one day to upgrade to a 383 stroker running about 400 hp. Lowered.. about 1 in. 3 inch exhaust kit.. Ground clearance is a bit of an issue.
What is the best tourqe arm and subframe connectors for my application?

i have UMI subframe connectors installed, and they are pretty beefed, they made my ride alot better.
id also like to know about a torque arm though.

I just installed the comp engineering SBCs on my RS, rides stiff, feel every bump, when i jack the front right up off the ground the left side comes up right along with it, makes it really stiff, welded them in, they are the design for the lung tube headers, i am pleased with them, but i too am still indecisive on buying a new torque arm.

I use Spohn Torque arm...adjustable with the front driveshaft loop. fit was excellent. works great too.
i hear spohn subframes are great too, as they have a 3rd set piece that triangulates the connector rails to the floor pan. extra stiffness.
seen pics on this sight about the Alston's SFC's and they worked great too. lift one side off the ground, the other is quickly to follow. very stiff car
cant go wrong either way

I am in the process of welding 2 torque arms together, and using Energy suspension bushings....I will let everyone know how this goes....Has anyone else tried this.??????????
....I love aftermarket, and it is in the future, but for now, I have spent so much..I am going to box my LCA's and try this trick with the torque arm....Tom
