Front springs on 1987 gta
I replace my rear springs because they were sagging like they all do. After I replaced them the rear looks fine but even before I installed the springs the drivers front looks to be a little too high. I measured the distance between the fender to the ground on a level surface and the drivers side is sitting 3/4 of an inch higher then the passenger side. I never touched the front suspension besides putting new struts in. I even was underneath it making sure that they were indexed properly. The drivers side is at 28 and 1/2 and the passenger side is a 27 and 3/4. Everything seems to be sitting in there properly but is the front supposed to be more towards the 28 and 1/2 number or the 27 and 3/4 number. Also the springs tags say they are bzx springs.

Are these measurements to the sheet metal?
If so, ignore them. They are meaningless and worthless. The sheet metal is not "the car". All it is, is TRIM that's attached to THE CAR. It can be stuck onto THE CAR all over an ENORMOUS range.
If you're really concerned about it, measure from the ground to THE ACTUAL CAR: that would be the "frame", or the K-member. Make sure of course that you're on an ABSOLUTELY LEVEL surface.
If THE CAR is bent, take it to a frame shop and get it straightened, and then align your sheet metal to THE CAR. If THE CAR is straight but the sheet metal is stuck on it sideways, then adjust the sheet metal.
In NO case, would the right thing to do, be to hack on THE CAR to make the sheet metal look right.
If your front springs are still original, then they're at least as worn out as the rears were. It's about pointless to talk about making the car "level" or anything else, with used up junk like that still in the picture.

Yea I know ur not supposed to use the sheetmetal on the car as measurement but its just a pain to actually get under there to measure it at the frame. I also saw a measurement from the ground to the pinchweld wish i believe was like just slightly over 8"
