Putting new shocks/ struts in stock 85 trans am, any suggestions?
i am about to put new shocks and struts in my 85 trans am. i am keeping everything stock. just wondering what brands are good. i'm looking for better cornering and a better ride. it feels like i'm riding on rocks at the moment.

Chances are you have a seized shock or something, the stock springs and shocks give a pretty decent ride.
Moog replacement springs, 5662 for the front, cc635 for the rear. Those are the stock replacements. Your current ones are probably worn out.
Shocks and struts - Monroe or Gabriel would be a stock replacement, but in a Trans-Am it'd probably make it feel more like a V6 car, slushy. I'd use at least KYB's. Gas-a-just in the rear, GR-2's in the front. Your local parts store should be able to get all of these in a matter of a few days.
