Question on installing UMI subframe connectors on my 91

I just recieved my SFC in the mail yesterday. I have a question on where the rear of the SFC bolts to the lower control arm. When loosening the existing bolt do I have to have the rear suspension un loaded? Right now I have the cars wheels blocked up so that the suspension is fully loaded. Can I keep it that way? Will the rear control arm just hang there so to speak?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Question on installing UMI subframe connectors on my 91

Not sure, but when I change my LCAs (done it 3 times) I always took the load off the suspension. Not sure if it is the right way, but it is the I've done it and never had problems. When I took mine off, the LCA had to be pushed down because the bolt on the axle was tight enough to keep the LCA's weight from lowering itself.
