What would happen if you just didnt run a panhard brace? On of course a 99% drag car. I just dont really see a need for it, unless your daily driving or road racing.

Re: Panhard bar brace delete

on ls1tech a bunch of guys have removed it without ill effects and some DD it as well. Since I don't have a front sway bar and run on skinnies out front I guess it wouldn't matter either way, but mine is still there, not like it weighs anything anyways

Re: Panhard bar brace delete

yea i saw an ls1 car without one that is what brung up the idea for me, it just seems if you can lose a little weight hear and there, its worth it. It seems anymore i just add weight to my car, subframes, cage, 9" rear. So any little bit will count.

Re: Panhard bar brace delete

Ya i mean if anything is just a little extra support...the thing would have to weigh under 5 lbs tops.

Take off your steel bumpers if its a track car thatll save ya a bunch.

BTW you really seem to have a thing going for pissing on fords. lol.

IMO, even if you take if off, i would weld the seams or whatevers just for added strength.. make is strong now so you prevent problems down the road..
