Worried about Wheel selection

I'd really hate to order the wrong size wheel, and despite reading the sticky i still have no idea which rim to get.

I have a factory drive line on my camaro, factory brake sizes and what not.

I am trying to order a pair of Cragar S/S rims for the front of my car so that they will match the rear. I have no idea what backspacing to pick and all that.

The rims on the rear are 5 lug 15x8. I'm not sure about the back spacing because i don't have the ability to pull them off right now. They do look like dish rims and hang out from the fender slightly.

The pics I have attached hopefully help. These are of the rear rims that are currently on my camaro.

P.S. - sorry for the glare

Re: Worried about Wheel selection

what size and width are you looking for?

with all the different sizes available its hard to tell what you have from a couple of hazey pics, i would guess the rears are 10" wide so they SHOULD have 5.5 backspacing. 10's in the front are too wide. if it helps i have 8" wheels in the front with 4.5" bs and they are fine.

Re: Worried about Wheel selection

If you want to go with an 8" rim all around then you should look at a 4.5" bs. If you want 10" on the rear, then a 5.5" bs. If you want 7" on the front, then go with a 3.5" bs. These measurements should work fine for you

Thanks guys, actually the rims on the rear are 15x8, I plan on going 8in. wide all around. Thank you for the info!

Re: Worried about Wheel selection

FYI by the way the pictures look, if the rear wheels are 8", they have a smaller, maybe 3.5 backspace, and they stick out further because if this.

Re: Worried about Wheel selection

Oh, I see. I wasn't really quite sure what back spacing actually was. Thanks for pointing that out!

The only 15x8 cragar S/S's I can find have a back spacing of 4 1/4in. Is this ok for the front?
