slicks for 16x8 iroc wheels
I know this has been covered on here somewhere but I cant find it.Does anybody make a slick that will fit these wheels besides a drag radial.Could I get some air shocks to make the slicks fit and just let the air out of them when I put the stock tire/wheel back on.I`m looking at buying two rear iroc wheels to put these slicks on but it looks like I may have to go with some 15" wheels.Thanks.

Mickey Thompson ET Streets, 26x10.50x16. They're the same rubber material as slicks but with grooves cut in them so they're street legal.

they also carry a 27.5x16 and 28x16 in 11.5 (fits stock wells) or a 13.5 width too.

How is a taller tire going to affect my traction/gear ratio. It should be a little better right? So the 27.5 or the 28 could possibly give me a little better traction I`m guessing, ordoes it matter. Thanks

Better traction true, but only because of more roll out which will change your gear ratio for the worst, if you were over geared already it would be a good thing but if you were under geared before swapping to a larger diameter tire, it would not be to your benefit. The 26 are close to the stock size tire but with the 16 inch rim like someone mentioned already, there is not a lot of sidewall which is desirable in a drag car.
