Bare sfc's
I decided not to bother with the powder coating, but now I'm thinking maybe I should be a little concerned about my sfc's rusting out and spreading the cancer to my frame...
SHould I be really worried about it nyway? I was thinking about just painting them red with spray paint already, but Im not sure if that would be enough... I could always POR15 them I guess, but I was just wondering if it was necessary. Remember, I live in the south, so we dont have much salt/snow, but it IS high humidity...

Yes, it's necessary. A few rock chips will scrape off cheesy spraybomb. I'd use a good durable THICK paint. I mean, a few coats.
Spray in that zinc pre-welding paint in the hard to reach areas if you want.

POR-15 would be a good choice.
