Moog suspension parts

Are moog suspension parts polyurethane or not? I have heard about them both ways. Dont most of O'reilly and napa carry moog parts?

If they are poly urethane i think ill just buy them instead of ordering energys kit mainly because i can go up to napa anytime I need a part.

Re: Moog suspension parts

I don't have an answer to your question; however, I'm about to start looking for a good front rebuild kit that is Moog specific. All the suspension shops I've talked to so far say that Moog has the best and most respected front end parts, plus they have greasable bushings....

Have you found a good source for the Moog parts yet? Nitro

Re: Moog suspension parts

Moog parts are generally stocked at any and all auto parts stores. They're the factory replacement part. It's not (usually) cheap off shore Chinese stuff, from everything i've seen it's solid American made stuff, and it's pretty high quality. It's stock though, don't expect miracles.
And no, it should be rubber, unless you specify a poly part. I do think MOOG makes some poly bushings now.

Re: Moog suspension parts

last time i checked napa carries a private label as does auto zone. carquest, federated, and parts plus have the moog line. their is no o.e. equivilent to moog in my opinion. moog uses oe materials in their products but i do beleive they have some poly sway bar links and bushings.

Re: Moog suspension parts

What manufacturer of front suspension parts other than Moog would you recommend? (I'm scheduled to replace my entire front suspension this month and want super high quality/durability) Nitro

Re: Moog suspension parts

It seems like the cheapest place i can find Moog parts is Rockauto.com i priced out a compelte front end rebuild kit and it came to $325 whereas Spohn is asking $400 for the EXACT same parts.

TRW makes parts. You can get them at Advance. Had good luck with their stuff.
