weld in sub frame connectors / frame rails...
hey guys, so i just recieved my sub frame connectors from UMI performance.... let me say they look MINTT! im just wondering on a few things.. does anything special have to be done to prepare for the welding really? i have done welding before with floor pan and all but im just wondering about the rails.. any info would be great... thanks for your time..

Make sure you have clean metal on both the car and the rails at all weld points. Take your time and position them where you want them. Weld them on. Sit back, stare, and admire.

From what Ive read you dont have to move the carpet from fear of burning it.......did I miss something??

Depends where the weld points are. Some of the floor is multi layers. If the SFC is welded to a lower layer then there's little chance the carpet will get burnt.
