I'm preparing to drop a v8 into my already worn out v6 chassis (not really 121,xxxmiles) but I do some rather aggressive driving but live out on backroads and dirtroads so I was wondering Which of the KYB shocks are the better and should I go with the eibach pro kit or the eibach sportline set, I know they are both lowering springs but I really don't want factory replacements so that seems to be my only cost effective option, but I also think my car sits low enough will these V8 lowering springs really lower my car, (I personally thought you were retarded to lower a DD third gen)

If your car has factory springs, then if you get the 1" drop kit, you might even see a raise in your ride height. Saggy springs sag. A lot more than you'd think. I'm gonna throw stock springs back in mine and see how much higher it sits when done.

My old IROC had 150,000 on the stock springs and I saw a 1" drop with the Eibach Prokit. My current IROC sat noticeably higher when parked next to it.
The Moog 5662 springs are factory front replacements and around $50 a pair. If you don't want to lower the car, this is your best option really.

but what about the handling this FE1 worn out crap ain't cuttin it for me!
Yes I know that poly bushings are a must and I might thow on that F41 swaybar I've got lyin around.

so what is it then get a 1 inch drop and still sit higher then the stock springs or get a two inch drop and actually notice a drop ?

The thing is I don't wanna go any lower than it already sits, it feels like driving a boat (ya know bounces and floats everywhere) I can just barely stand driving the car in a rural area due to speedbumps yeah 121,xxx miles suspension is that worn, I know for a fact it's all stock under there which surprises me because the damned thing bottoms out everywhere and on everything. It looks lowered but it's all stock BS

I'm in the same boat here. I'm ordering springs THIS WEEKEND... But I still don't know if I'll be killing myself over every speedbump if I go Sportline. It seems to me that if I drop it I might as well go as low as possible to get the most handling benefits, but I drive my car daily so I've been leaning towards the Pro-Kit... Tough decision. I have Alston Subframe Connectors also, I'm paranoid about scraping those if I go much lower... Anybody out there with Alston's and some Sportlines?
If I can do it and still negotiate speedbumps slowly, then I definitely want to go Sportline.
