suspension upgrade
Ok, im not to sure on the specs of my suspension now, but i have an 87 sport coupe and i would ike to get it to handle bumps better and get an overall more smoother ride and handling, what would be the best things to do and best parts to use, any advice would be great

Just start reading the threads in this section of TGO!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd start with stiffening the car with SFCs and a Wonderbar.
Then all bushings should be replaced with whatever method you can afford.
New shocks and Struts, again the best you can afford. (Plenty of info here on TGO to decide what brand and what bushings.) Bushing can be replace by changing the bushings themselves, or the whole part with an aftermarket part. Such as tubular suspension components from UMI that will include new bushings.
While your replacing the struts, do all the steering components Moog brand seems to be a favorite around here. Don't forget the lower balljoints and upper strut mounts. replace the upper strut mounts with solid mounts from Hotparts.com or Spohn. Then you can add a Strut tower brace. (Useless unless you replace the factory type rubber mounts with a solid mount.)
Uppgrading the sway bars and their hardware use poly endlinks and bushings.
Then wheels and tires, again best you can afford.

Well I made my own post becasue most of the suspension stuff I see is for irocs and rs's, I wanted more specific stuff for a sport coupe or what other sport coupe owners did.
