Would 88 GTA wheels fit a 2001 Camaro??

Would 88 GTA wheels fit a 2001 Camaro??

Just checking if any one has done this, Im sure they had but just checking to see if they done it with no probs?thanks

they will bolt right in, and stick out past the fenders a good bit.

Like how fare out 1/2inch 1inch? the reason I ask is,I have this guy wanting to trade me for his 2001 Camaro for my 1988 GTA and I hate the wheels the Camaro has on it now there the factory 5 star silver wheels.UGLY!

As 86TA points out they will stick out a fair amount(more than 1/2 i believe).Just keep in mind the 4th gen rear is several inches wider than the 3rd Gens.But they are the same bolt pattern just wrong offset.

Kinda depends really...fronts or rears?

The GTA fronts sit out farther, they have less BS than the rears. Like, with a 4th gen rear in a 3rd gen, the wheels fit flush, because the rear end itself takes up the BS difference.

On the front of 4th gen, I've never seen it actually done (3rd gen wheels on a 4th gen) but my guess is, they'll stick out a good inch.
