i think the only way i've seen work is to get the tubular K-member with the rack mounts. i think PA Racing, AJE, and Spohn offer them. a rack from a late 70's mustang will work with mods to the tie rod ends.......checkout the k-member threads....

i was just wondering b/c when i had my el Camino there was a bolt on kit that had everything you need (and it was a power rack) it seems the f body has less options then the g body.

there is nothing for the 3rd gens but can a different one be retrofitted with their mounting clamps?

There is only one rack out there that has enough travel to allow full turning in our cars. If you search, you can find it, but I don't believe it's available power.
Over all, there is not enough benefit of converting, plus, there's a very low demand. Minimal weight loss and usually a substantial loss of turning radius. The k-members that allow the use of a pinto rack or a mustange rack will cost you about 1/2 your turning radius. You have to remember, most of the tube k-members are designed for straight-line applications.
