suspension noises
so when im driving and i hit a speed bump, etc. i keep hearing a weird clanking noise. like chains. the guy i bought the beast from said the suspension bushings need a change...??? and when I cut the wheel to the far right i.e. parking; it makes a popping thudding sound...but the tires are clear of any fender wall etc. so I dunno
anyone got any input for this?? thanks.

Re: suspension noises
That sounds like your upper strut mounts. I replaced mine with ones from the Zone and had to replace them again with HotPart ones about a year later. I'd go ahead and replace them with Spohn or HotPart pieces. Also, you'll need to check your ball joints, sway bar end links and bushings, tie rod ends....

Re: suspension noises
i would start with the easy fix 1st. sway bar bushings and end links. fixed me up. just make sure you order the right size bushing since there are 3 different sizes for the front.

Re: suspension noises
i second the sway bar endlinks... could be the strut/ball joint tho.
lift the front and see if u can wiggle the wheel by pulling and pushing the top and bottom of the wheel, of course look at the sway bar endlinks, and check the strut.

Re: suspension noises
I think that they're more than 3 sizes on the front sway bar. 4 or 5 I think.
