Wheel repair

Has anyone here had dealings with having their wheel repaired? Which shop have you used and were you happy with the results? I have a 90 IROC wheel that I bought off of ebay that needs some work The picture didn't show the damage well but the description did say there was some, well I got it and wish I had asked for better pictures.

Re: Wheel repair

I once winged a curb and it damaged a couple of my N-24's fins and they were able to fix them. I think they just welded in some aluminum and then grinded it down, I'm not really sure .... but it came out nice ... this wasn't the gold ones on my car it was another firebird I owned.

Re: Wheel repair

Might not be a need to send the one wheel off to repair after all. Talked with a friend yesterday and he found out the guy I got the other 3 wheels from localy found the 4th one Just have to get in contact with him and hope he still has it.

Re: Wheel repair

I have two bad GTA wheels and my ride is AWFUL. With bent barrels, I've been lead to believe there is no recourse for this problem.

I'm shopping for new wheels. Been ripped off by eBay cheesers 2 times already.

Re: Wheel repair

How can you lose a wheel? It's not like it's a small object like a handful of bolts...

Are those the front or rear that are bent?

Re: Wheel repair

i was looking through a local trading paper and found a deal on 88 vette rims. one "bent," the whole set for $50. seems too good to be true.
