Mine are starting to pop, so I need new ones. I looked at getting some before pulling mine apart, but they have standard & oversized ones for sale.

Is there any way to know, before I tear my car apart, what I'd need? Kinda hard to go to the parts store, when your only car is torn apart.

 

whats oversized? the tapered shaft? i would assume, if that is the case, they the oversized one would be for if there was damage to the spindle that required you to ream out and enlarge the hole a bit

 

That's what I don't quite understand.

Are just if you need to bore the hole out, and need larger ones? Or, are they for worn out oversized holes?

 

As I understand it, the oversized are for those that had damage and had to bore out the holes slightly - you should be fine with regular ones if you haven't had this done.
