Front end alignment is royally screwed up after steering box install...
I just installed a rebuilt RedHead steering box. I bled the system. Now the front end alignment is REALLY messed up. I can actually SEE the wheels have toe-out. I don't see how a new box could mess up my alignment this much. With the steering wheel dead center, one tire is straight and the other is not. I **** the wheel 45 degrees to the right, and the driver side tire is straight and the passenger side is not.
Is this normal for a new steering box? I wasn't expecting this.
Edit: Okay, it's not as bad as I thought at first. After thinking about this I can easily see how the alignment is thrown off by the positioning of the steering box. I think I may be a spline off on the input shaft as well, making things with the alignment seem worse than they are.
