A quick wheel and tire question.
A friend of mine wants to sell me some draglites with BFGoodrich tires but I want to know if they will fit my 89 formy 350. The tires that he has on there are P245/60/r14 in back and P215/65/r14 in front. Will these 14 inchers fit on my car? He doesn't know what size the wheels are. For $100 I guess I couldn't pass it up so that is why I'm asking if they will fit.

Re: A quick wheel and tire question.
the tire will physically fit in the wheel wells. Without knowing the bolt pattern and backspacing/offset, i can go no further. I believe the 14's will fit the stock 10.5 discs and drums, not much else

Thanks for the input, is there anyone else? Also, is it worth the money even though they are not 15's?

Not knowing any real info like backspacing or bolt pattern not sure but maybe we could help if you tell us what kind of car your friend had them on. If it was an 80s G-body car (cutlass-regal-monte carlo-grand prix) or a second gen 70-81 camaro or T/A then yes if not who knows...

Before you dish out the cash, zip them on your car to see if they fit...

Yeah, they are on a 86 regal that had a 305 and auto. He has to get steelies to put on his car in order to have something to roll on yet he doesn't have anything yet. Thanks black ice for the tech info that they would fit. Now I'm wondering how far the speedo will be off with the combo on my car?

If they fit the car, the speed will be off. Measure the diameter of the wheel and tire. Stock is something like 26 inches I think.
