Wheel Offset question.

Alright, I am having some issues on what route i wanna go, I have some c5 wagon wheels, but dont really want to go staggered sizes, and tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com dont show alot of wheels for our cars, but if you do a search on tirerack.com for say a 17in wheel with the correct bolt pattern it brings up alot of wheels just with different offsets. Now my question is, the ones I want are a 17x9 with a 0 offset, that means the bolting flange is right in the middle, so 4.5 inch backspacing right? Ya. so am I gonna have to use a spacer with these wheels? or will that be the right backspacing? Please help.

Re: Wheel Offset question.

a 9" wheel will measure about 10" wide. so the bs will be about 5", should still fit, though i think the tire will be flush with the fender

Re: Wheel Offset question.

Well, I can do a fender roll, or trim the lip if i need to, as long as I dont need spacers, and that the wheel will clear on the inner side. and still be able to turn.

Also...How wide of a tire will fit on a 9" wheel? and still fit under the car, I was gonna go 275/40's

Re: Wheel Offset question.

275/40/17 should work fine, factory diameter
