Bilstein HD or sport?

I'm going bananas trying to decide on a shock/spring set. I've decided on the Eibach pro kit and for the shocks either the Bilstein or the Koni Sport. The car is mostly for street performance but I have a lot of audio equip. putting an extra 200lbs in the back. Which would be the better choice? If bilstein should I get the sport or HD for the back with the eibach pro kit? If the Konis, will they handle like the bilstein and require much adjustments regularly?

Thanks.

Re: Bilstein HD or sport?

I too was considering a set of Bilstein's (but for my 4th gen - yikes). Problem I ran into was that the fronts have been back ordered for over six months. Skip that! Have you checked to see if the Bilstein's are available for 3rd gens?

You might want to check out Stranosports.
http://www.stranoparts.com I asked them the same questions you're asking and they highly suggested the Strano springs and Koni yellows.

Good luck with you selection.

Yeah, i checked them out and they aren't too please with the newer bilstein. I've ordered up the koni sport (yellow) to go with a set of eibach pro's.

Thanks.
